On 12 January 2024, the conference “Minors, bullying and sport: the role of the federal prosecutor’s office” was held at the Parthenope University of Naples.

Mr. Fabio Pennisi spoke by illustrating his 20-year experience as a federal prosecutor in various federations (now at the Italian Rugby Federation and the Italian Shooting Union), reporting on some investigations conducted on bullying and cyberbullying cases.

The critical issues of the phenomenon were examined, as well as the legislative and regulatory changes introduced after the Sports Reform, with particular attention to the guidelines adopted by the sports federations, the organizational models and the code of conduct to be adopt by  sports clubs and associations affiliated with National Sports Federations, Associated Disciplines, Sports Promotion Bodies, Meritorious.

Magistrates, lawyers, psychologists and representatives of the Bar Association of Naples and Nola attended the conference.
