With the judgment of March 26, 2025, the Juvenile Court of Rome finally brought an end to a long and painful legal ordeal for the mother of little Edoardo. Following numerous legal actions, including criminal proceedings initiated by the child’s paternal grandparents, the mother had seen her parental authority suspended and had been forcibly placed in a foster home, with very difficult personal and family consequences.

Today, thanks to the efforts of our law firm and the path of recovery and personal growth undertaken by the mother, the Court has recognized her full parental fitness, restoring her exclusive responsibility over her son and declaring the forfeiture of the father’s parental rights. A decision that upholds the protection of the child’s rights and celebrates the resilience of those who never gave up.
